Poster Progression - 1920 to 1930

In this project we are to create a poster (size: 18" x 24") that represents a decade in the 20th Century.
I have learn more about history in this class than any other history class I have taken because I am involved and engaged with researching. The new found terms that defined the prohibition of alcohol (i.e.: hooch, wet versus dry, or giggle water, just to name a few). I learned what women wore such as flappers and wool bathing suits, and men wearing headdresses called sheiks. Did you know that the car radio was invented, in 1926? Indeed it was, along with many other great developments that helped shaped the world we live in today. We also have a presentation due that allows my teammate and I to share facts about the 1920s that have gone without recognition for all these years.

My progress so far Learning from Art Nouveau and Art Deco trying to combine the two to create a great representation of what it would have been like live in the twenties.
